Homer
Homer is a registered psychologist who has been practicing since 1990. He has worked in a range of settings dealing with refugees, injured workers, survivors of motor vehicle accidents, relationship counselling and youthwork, in both private and non-government settings.
Homer has worked with culturally diverse groups and comes from a working-class background. This allows him to relate to a wide range of people and to understand both their differences and similarities. The focus of treatment is to help people function more effectively, whatever their life circumstances.
He utilises understanding, empathic listening and a mix of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy and Assertiveness/ Communication Training.
